Oris launches a watch to support the ‘New York Harbor Oyster Restoration Project

The New York Harbor Limited Edition II watch, inspired by the beauty of the harbor’s oysters.
The watch is based on the Aquis Date diver’s model, featuring a mother-of-pearl dial in aqua green with a shell-like texture, paired with a rubber strap and a stainless steel bracelet—all in a limited edition of only 2,000 pieces.

The model comes with a stainless steel case water-resistant up to 300 meters and runs on the automatic Oris Calibre 733, built on the Sellita SW-200-1, with a 41-hour power reserve.

The case back is engraved with the edition’s name, the serial number, and three oyster shells, giving it a commemorative artistic touch.

Part of the proceeds from this watch will go to the “Billion Oyster Project”, which supports the rebuilding of reefs, oysters, shell collection, and environmental education and awareness programs.

Founded in 2014, the initiative has made remarkable progress toward its goal—by mid-2025, it will have restored around 150 million oysters to New York Harbor, working toward a target of one billion oysters by 2035.

This is the second partnership between Oris and the Billion Oyster Project, following the first New York Harbor watch released in 2022, which was met with great enthusiasm.

Oris says: “The ecological challenge may seem daunting, but when we work together, it becomes easier. We are proud to renew our collaboration with the Billion Oyster Project and to witness the change we are making together.”
